What All Staff Need to Know about Selective Mutism
A short, 1 hour seminar in the style of an in-service for all school staff, or for principals and their learning support team to learn what to teach their own staff about managing children with selective mutism. This seminar will be run again in early 2018. A DVD of this seminar is available to purchase here. The 45-minute DVD is a useful option to play at a staff meeting to help all staff understand why children with selective mutism find it hard to talk, and the basic dos and don’ts of how to interact with these children.
What Every Parent Can Do to Help Your Child with Selective Mutism
An intensive 3-hour seminar for parents to learn some of the specific strategies needed to help children with selective mutism recover. We do not have plans to run this seminar yet, however please let us know if you would be interested in attending this seminar.
