A 3 hour seminar to help parents understand selective mutism and specific strategies that will help their child become confident talkers at school and in other social situations. This seminar will be suitable for both parents who have never received treatment for their child’s selective mutism as well as for parents who are currently receiving treatment for their child.  We plan to run this seminar in late 2019.

Preschoolers with Selective Mutism: Transitioning to School

A 1.5-hour seminar for early childhood workers, kindergarten teachers, parents, and support staff – who are working or will be working with a child currently in preschool who will be transitioning to school in 2020. The seminar is a short 1.5 hour seminar focused exclusively on strategies to aide with transition to school. We are running this seminar on Wednesday 18th September 2019 from 6 to 7.30pm.
