This 1 hour 45-minute webinar provides practical strategies to help support children with Selective Mutism transition to a new school year. Selective Mutism is a condition that severely restricts a child’s capacity for communicating verbally outside the home and typically occurs in around 1 in every 200 children in primary school. It is a treatable anxiety disorder, but generally requires 1 to 2 years of treatment to resolve.

This webinar is for parents and carers of children with Selective Mutism who are in Kindergarten to Year 5 this year and will still be in primary school next year. It is also for teachers working with these children, both this year and in the year ahead.
