Erin Butler

Erin is a clinical psychology registrar with experience working with teens, adults, and families. Erin works primarily from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy approach, and has experience with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Prolonged Exposure, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Schema Therapy.

Erin completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Deakin University followed by her Masters of Clinical Psychology at Swinburne University. She provides treatment for child/adolescent and adult mental health difficulties including anxiety and mood disorders, selective mutism, trauma, stress and worry, emotional regulation difficulties, and adjustment difficulties.

Erin has had experience working with a range of people in out of home care, community mental health, and systemic family based programs. Erin strives to create a safe and warm environment where people feel at ease. She thinks its important to work collaboratively with people in order to reach their goals.

Erin is a fully registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (Reg. # PSY0002028939).
