The Selective Mutism Clinic offers professional supervision to professionals around Australia who work with children with selective mutism. These include psychologists, speech therapists, school counsellors, teachers, guidance officers, and social workers.

Consultations can be provided on a single or ongoing basis to clinicians with varying levels of experience with selective mutism. They can be conducted via video, phone, or face-to-face.

These consultations focus on developing clinician’s skills and increasing their confidence to assess, diagnose and treat selective mutism in children they are currently working with. Case formulation, engaging children/families/schools in treatment, implementing a cognitive-behavioural therapy program, and overcoming challenges or barriers to progress can be discussed.

Supervision is provided by the director, Elizabeth Woodcock (see bio below). The cost of professional supervision is $260 (+GST) for a 50 minute consultation.

If you are interested in these services please contact us on 02 9438 2511 or click here to email the clinic.
